What’s included in my session?

Sessions include location and wardrobe consultation, an hour of shooting time (unless you’ve booked a mini or individual portrait session), treats for the kiddos, all edited high resolution photos from your session, and a print release!

How long will my session last?

Unless you’re booking a mini session or a portrait session, all of my sessions last up to an hour. I’m super quick and can get lots of great photos in a short amount of time. But don’t worry, I won’t stop shooting until I’m confident that I’ve gotten all the shots I need. My goal is to make your session as quick and painless as possible, especially for those in the family who lose interest fast (kiddos and sometimes husbands too!).

How many photos will I get?

Lots! I tend to over shoot and over share. I do not limit the number of photos I’ll give you from your session. It kills me delete photos, so you’ll get practically every photo I take at your session. You’ll have a hard time deciding which ones to hang on your walls and share on social media!

How do I book my session?

Once you’ve decided you want to work with me (yay!), call or text me at (435) 668-4076 or send me a DM on Instagram or Facebook. We’ll find a date that works for both of us. To book, I require a signed contract and a deposit. Once both of those are secured, your session is officially booked!

How and when will we choose the location for my shoot?

If you’re not sure where you’d like to shoot, don’t worry! I have lots of beautiful locations in the area that I like to shoot at. All you have to do is let me know what kind of look you’re going for (mountain, lake, studio, etc) and I’ll suggest some great places. I can send you examples of previous shoots I’ve done to help you visualize what it’ll look like.

What should we wear to our session?

Coordinate, but don’t match! Long gone are the days of everyone in the family wearing the same color. I love soft neutrals and subtle patterns.But don’t be afraid to add bright pops of color and fun accessories too! I recommend dressing up a little. Nothing too fancy but dresses and skirts always look beautiful on women and girls and button-up shirts look great on men and boys. Wear whatever makes your feel comfortable, but for the love, all I ask is that no one wears a graphic tee or a shirt with words on it!

What if the weather is bad the day of my session?

I always watch the forecast carefully when I have an upcoming session. If it looks iffy, we’ll keep in touch about what to do. I usually leave it up to my clients whether they want to reschedule or not.We’ll typically decide by the morning of the session. I’m happy to work with you to find a new date because I want everyone to be happy during the session. If it’s too cold or snowy/rainy, I’m happy to wait for a more ideal day. My goal is for the photos to turn out the way you want them!

How will I receive my images?

Once your photos are ready, they will be uploaded in high-resolution to my online gallery. You’ll receive an email letting you know they’re ready to view. Your photos will be password protected so that only those you share the password with will be able to view them. Your email will contain a PIN which you’ll need to download them to your computer.

When will I get my photos back?

My turnaround is typically less than a week! I’m always so excited to get your images to you! I honestly love getting them done quickly. During busy seasons, it may take 2-3 weeks but it will never take longer than that! I do not use presets and carefully hand-edit each and every image from your session. I put a lot of love into the editing process! I make sure the edit on your images are consistent throughout your entire session.

Will I get printing rights for my photos?

Yes! When you sign my contract, you’ll get a print release so you’ll be able to download your images to print wherever you choose and share with friends and family on social media.
